Potsdam Days on Bioanalysis 2013

About 150 participants got insight in current developments in the field of bioanalysis. On november 7th, the lectures focused on Molecular Imprinted Polymers, Cell Sensors and Sensing Molecules. On november 8th, current results of the project "Lab in a hankie" were presented.

Potsdam Days on Bioanalysis 2012

About 20 research institutes and over 80 small and medium-sized enterprises promote bioanalytical research and development in the Capital Region.

In this context the ZMDB and the Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering IBMT organized again the Potsdam Days on Bioanalysis.

Once more, this event offered a variety of possibilities to discuss and develop further own concepts with partners from science and industry.

Potsdam Days on Bioanalysis 2011

In the context of fast technological development, bioanalysis is becoming increasingly important. Retrospective processes are being replaced by innovative, prospective processes. Additionally, combinations of different individual methods open up new possibilities for analytical applications.

On November 7th, interim results of the project were presented as part of a public status seminar. The event was completed by a poster exhibition where the latest developments from the "Impulse Centre for Integrated Bioanalysis" were presented. Through a guided "Lab-Tour", each participant had the possibility to get deeper insights into the project.

For the "Potsdam Colloquium on Bioanalysis" on November 8th, highly qualified experts in Cell-Assay-Development, Microfluidics, Lab-On-Chip-Systems, Molecular Imprinting and Biosensor Technology have been invited to present the latest scientific trends, as well as successful concepts and developments.

2nd Potsdam Colloquium on Bioanalytics and Meeting of the IZIB Advisory Board: November 10th 2010

The Potsdam Colloquium on Bioanalytics is an annual event, organised by the Center of Molecular Diagnostics and Bioanalytics (ZMDB) and the Fraunhofer IBMT.

This year, speakers from science and industry presented latest results linked to the development of autonomous biosensors.

Today, the application of biosensors is not limited to the clinic, but they gain increasing importance in the food industry, environmental monitoring and in areas linked to security issues. The growing demand for better analytics constantly forces further development of sensor technologies.

In line with the "Potsdam Colloquium of Bioanalytics" the advisory board of the IZIB met at the Fraunhofer IBMT.

First Public Status Seminar & Symposium Sensor-Actor-Molecules: June 29th 2010

The first public status seminar of the project "Lab in a Hankie" - Impulse Centre for Integrated Bioanalysis was connected to a symposium about sensor-actor-molecules. Besides the presentation of first results it opened up the opportunity to get a deeper insight in the usage of microstructures for pathogen detection.

Kick-Off-Meeting: October 1st 2009

Just in time with the start of the project, all partners of the "Lab in a Hankie"-project met at the Fraunhofer IBMT. After the welcome of the Head of Division from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, H.-P. Hiepe, the different groups discussed the next steps in the project.
